INSIGHTFUL DISCUSSIONS AROUND KEY ISSUES
We share a passion for world-class best practice in Investor Relations. The members of the IR Council are Heads of Investor Relations with significant professional knowledge and experience. The strength of the IR Council lies very much in its broad geographical and industrial diversity. Most importantly, perhaps, this interaction has as a defining purpose: the sharing and generation of actionable solutions to commonly held goals. Consequently, the wealth of knowledge, experience and open exchange among trusted peers are highly valued benefits.

The IR Council started in 2000. It has been formally established in early 2015.
Independent member-driven forum
We follow a concept of peer networking and learning. The IR Council is an opportunity for inspiring and outstanding IR professionals to come together to meet, exchange best practice and socialise.

Membership entitles participation to three meetings per year. The meetings are structured to include closed sessions among the members themselves, as well as open sessions with one or more guest speakers. Open discussions are the very heart of the IR Council. We hold our meetings under the Chatham House Rule. As a result, discussions during the meetings are characteristically open and rich.

Furthermore, members have exclusive access to the IR Council's database, featuring meeting documentation, presentations, IR intelligence and more.
Sounding board for burning questions
Outside the meetings, the peer network remains an open, lively and trusted forum. Whenever an urgent need arises or a quick answer to a burning question is needed, the Council provides an immediate sounding board of top experts.
Strictly limited access
In order to preserve the quality and effectiveness of the meetings, membership to the Council is strictly limited and determined by the members themselves under the stewardship of the Council Director.
